Our fuel-efficient gas savers: Because happiness begins at 30 mpg

It seems like only yesterday when gas prices were so low for so long, a lot of people took them for granted. That includes a whole bunch of auto makers who kept cranking out bigger, less-fuel-efficient trucks, cars and SUVs. But with low fuel costs, it was no big deal, right? Today it's a big deal. That's why, at Royal on the East Side in Bloomington, IN, we're proud to offer our fuel-efficient gas savers: A lot of different ways to cut the cost of fuel.

example #1: A used Audi A4 sedan with 31 mpg

Our money-saving used fuel-savers are always popular and sell quickly, so we'll just talk about some examples of actual vehicles that were on our lot, to show the kinds of savings you can find here. An Audi A4 sedan we had available was about five years old and had only about 34K miles. This A4 model was in the Premium Plus trim and was capable of getting up to 31 mpg on Indiana highways. Even better, it was a CARFAX® One Owner model.

example #2: An Audi TT Roadster with 31 mpg

This TT Roadster was a beautiful 2012 model with relatively low miles of less than 68K. It's a great example of how, when you look carefully, you can find a way to make daily driving a lot of fun while still saving a lot on the cost of gasoline. This sporty roadster came with quattro all-wheel drive and a 16-valve inline-four engine. The upholstery was genuine leather and the gas mileage was excellent: As much as 31 mpg on local highways.

example #3: A 2021 Subaru Crosstrek with 34 mpg

We recently offered a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek SUV in an appealing Crystal White Pearl. This was an accident-free model that included the convenience of Apple CarPlay® and the superior traction of Subaru's patented Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. This was another CARFAX® One Owner model that included an outside rear camera for safer, easier parking and wireless phone connectivity. Gas mileage was an outstanding 34 mpg on the highway.

example #4: A 2017 Subaru Outback with 32 mpg

This was a five-year-old Subaru Outback that demanded attention with a cool Ice Silver Metallic exterior. Once again, this was a premium used model with the luxury of genuine leather upholstery, all-wheel drive and as much as 32 mpg on nearby highways.

example #5: A 2017 VW Jetta sedan with 38 mpg

The Volkswagen Jetta is one of VW's more popular models and a used version can be an exceptionally good deal. This one had high miles but the very good news is that it was a CARFAX® Certified One Owner car, so there's a higher likelihood this Jetta had consistently good care. It came with a rear-view parking camera, heated front seats along with a power moonroof, and gas mileage was an amazing 38 mpg.

example #6: A 2018 Volkswagen Passat with 36 mpg

This VW Passat was a bargain that was firing on all cylinders. It was a 2018 model with low miles at less than 33K. It had an accident-free history and was yet another CARFAX® Certified One Owner model, which always helps used car buyers feel more confident.
